Pliosaurus were reptiles that lived during the Late Jurassic period around the shorelines of what is now Europe. Its name means "Pliocene lizard"? in Greek.
Pliosaurus were 40ft long and weighed around 30 tons (60,000lbs) which made it the same length of a Sperm whale and the weight of a Humpback Whale.
